A sense of isolation is a chronic disease for writers. Hours at the computer, a feeling that people don’t really thinking you’re working because they spend hours at the computer too (playing games?), not having a circle of friends whose passion is words and writing.
But CWILLBC offers a mentorship program whereby newbies like me are hooked up with more experienced writers.
Today I met with Karen Autio over lunch and we gabbled nonstop about the how to of presentations. Not only did I learn alot but also I feel less isolated. Thanks to Karen and thanks to CWILLBC for making it possible.
